Aesthetic Implants

Dental Implants are used to replace an entire missing tooth…

both the surgery and restorative phases of dental implants are performed in-house at Aesthetic Dental.

What is an Implant?

Dental Implants are titanium screws that are inserted directly into the bone of the jaw. Implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth, support a bridge if several teeth are missing or even anchore a loose denture.

The advantage of using implants over conventional bridge work is that by inserting directly into bone, the new teeth feel a part of you & there is also no need to damage adjacent teeth as you would for bridge retention.

Am I a candidate?

Most people are suitable candidates for dental implants, however there may be some situations where we will need to recommend other tooth replacement options. Please contact Aesthetic Dental for a FREE detailed consultation and assessment.

Treatment Phases

The implant procedure is conducted under a local anaesthetic, with little or no discomfort. Your implant needs only a minor opening in the gum-line before being guided gently into position.

Following placement, you’ll attend a series of appointments at Aesthetic Dental to construct your replacement tooth. During this phase, your healing will be monitored carefully and you’ll have a temporary tooth option in place. You should remember that maintaining your oral health after implants is essential. Even though your implant is titanium and your replacement teeth are produced from high quality porcelain, your surrounding teeth and gums are still prone to the effects of gum disease.
